How to track my new SBI DEBIT CARD STATUS

How to track my new SBI debit card status

As soon as you open the account, at your specific request, the branch will upload a request for the issue of a Debit Card.

As soon as the ATM Debit Card is printed and dispatched to your address, the Bank will send an SMS to the registered mobile number of the customer, informing the Speed Post / Courier Reference Number.

Customers can track the SBI debit card status through India Post or the related Courier website.

However, if the customer wants to know the status of the card prior to the dispatch, the customer has to approach the branch to know the status whether the request has been received by the Card Vendor, whether accepted or rejected, whether printed or not, what is the Card Number, etc.

There is no separate process to know this type of status.

The views expressed herein are my personal opinions. These are not necessarily the views of the Bank, with whom I am employed at present.

Once your card is dispatched from the bank, they would notify you with a tracking id.

You can use this tracking id on the India Post website, the website of the Indian postal services, to track your shipment.

It generally takes 7-10 working days to dispatch the debit card after the request has been accepted.

If your card has not to be dispatched in this time frame, I suggest you contact your bank and find out the SBI debit card status.

The ATM Card will be sent to the Linked SBI Branch if undelivered to the customer address.

But once the card is undelivered the ATM Card is hotlisted and cannot be used without shortlisting.

In case the SBI ATM Card remains undelivered at the owner’s registered address it is sent back to the Card Issuing Company.
